About enterprises

Open joint-stock company “Puhovichi cardboard factory” is one of the oldest enterprises of  pulp and paper industry of Belarus, a part of concern “Bellesbumprom”. Factory was found out in 1899. It is situated on the shore of the Svisloch in 60 km from Minsk.

Our specialisation is manufacture  of multilayered cardboard: cardboard for rigid book covers, for manufacturing of separate details of furniture, box cardboard. Except the basic production   we produce packing materials and cardboard details. Now the enterprise is the unique manufacturer of a cardboard for rigid book covers in Belarus. Paper for recycling is the initial raw materials.

In 1993 the Puhovichi cardboard factory reformed the property and was transformed to Open joint-stock company. 416 present and former workers of factory are shareholders, the State share is 62,2 %.

Today the factory lets out more than ten names of production on the basis of single-layered stout sheet cardboard.

The basic sale markets are the polygraphic enterprises , the furniture enterprises, the enterprises letting out dairy production.

Specific weight of exported production in total amount is more than 50 %. Production is exported to Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Moldova, Ukraine, Russian Federation, Germany, Uzbekictan.

It has been produced in 2008:

·     Cardboard – 8024 tons;

·     Cardboard packing materials – 119 thousands of m²;

·     Lumber – 667 m³.

The volume of realisation of production for export has made 1300,2 thousand dollars of the USA.
